Giving is gaining more than you think
Giving is gaining more than you think.
“Giving more is gaining more”.
“Flow out, flow in”
Many of us may have heard the above sentences, especially during this time that we want to promote generosity in our society. Today, Hi would like to take you to the world of smiles and mercy which referred to as “Giving”.
All of us here at Hi are feeling so lucky that we are working in the giving environment. All clients who open our doors are coming in without any selfishness or being self-willed. They are all having the persons they love and trying to do the best thing for them on the special upcoming occasion. They come to seek Hi to be their representative to present their thoughtfulness and friendships to their loved ones. Hi is very pleased to have an opportunity to serve those loved ones with many kinds of balloon such as birthday balloons, wedding day balloons, graduation day balloons or other lovely foil balloons.
Do you know what we can “give” as a gift?
Do you know that we can also “give” a subjective gift?
Do you know that we can “give” 9 things as follow?
- Materials, money, objects.
- Mercy and fondness.
- Smiles and humbleness.
- Nice words.
- Giving physical force to help in any work.
- Giving good suggestion/dhamma.
- Appreciation to others on their happiness (Muthitajit)
You may surprise and say “Oho! Can we give those 9 things?” We never realize because we always concentrate only the no. 1 gift which is tangible. Many people may use as an excuse for not giving gifts to others because they are broke. You can relieve now because you can choose to “give” another 8 things without spending even 1 Baht.
On an auspicious occasion of your special one, you may choose lovely balloons from Hi as your gift or let Hi be the party decorator for you. We will be more than happy to serve you. Or you may choose to “give” other things as deem appropriate. Let’s see what you can give.
For example, on the graduation day of your family member, apart from giving a balloon bouquet to congratulate the newly graduated, you may give your appreciation by walking straight to and congratulate them with big sincere smiles, tender eye contact, and polite words. You may wish them success in their future. Other friends or relatives can share your creative ideas to organize and decorate the party location to congratulate the newly graduated as well.
You see, giving is beyond any boundary. If you ask what we will get from “giving more is gaining more”, we can tell you that the giver will receive self-complacent, delightful, smiles, thankfulness and appreciations in reciprocal. Whatsoever within these 9 things you give away, you will receive a “good deed” in return because giving is a kind of performing merit of giving charity. The most important is that this charity given is one of the seven noble treasures, a lesson of Lord Buddha, which, according to Buddhism belief, can be accumulated and carried forward to your every next life. Less fund you invest, the large profit you gain. If we knew that well, we should change ourselves to be a “giver” and please let Hi be your helper to fulfill this principle. “Giving is gaining”.
